'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback

Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year contract he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the maiden major achievement of his notable career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would be pleased to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he previously was, and would certainly contemplate extending his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had escaped him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
